Richard C. Macaulay, 82, of Brenham, Tx, was born 1/6/28 in La Porte, Texas. Richard died February 19, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bryan, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Frances Macaulay, sons Frank & Diane Macaulay of La Grange; Stephen & Selina Macaulay of Laguna Vista, Tx; David & Melody Macaulay of Houston, TX, daughter Kari & Jim Hollway of Houston, TX. Also surviving are eleven grandchildren: William, Amy and Robert Macaulay; Jamie Schmidt; Sean, Ryan & Amanda Macaulay; Ciara and Lindsay Macaulay; Andrew and Ashley Hollway.
He was a businessman and entrepreneur who founded Macaulay Controls Company in 1965 as well as numerous other business ventures. He was also an inspiration to many young people during his life.
