Anna L. Bilski, 80, widow of Florian Bilski, died June 27, 2010 in Memorial Hermann, Memorial City Hospital in Houston. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham. Father David Ivey will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery in Chappell Hill. The family will receive friends and relatives Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. A Rosary will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m.

Mrs. Bilski was born July 26, 1929 in Bremond, Texas to Joseph and Sophie Glowski Snider. She was both baptized and confirmed in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bremond and attended St. Mary's School in Bremond. On November 19, 1947, she married Florian Bilski in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bremond. Anna Bilski was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Brenham until her death. She was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell, having retired after 30 years of service.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law Pat and Chris Andrus of Katy, and Pam and Bob Stefano of Houston; grandchildren Stephanie Thompson, Kim Rensimer, and Christie Griffin; great-grandchildren: Melanie, Josh, and Kenny Thompson; Jimmy, Lily and Ben Rensimer, and Jimmy and Jake Griffin; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Harvey Dale Thompson of Houston, as well as five nieces, four nephews, and numerous other family members and friends.

Mrs. Bilski was preceded in death by her husband, Florian Bilski, her parents and her brother.

Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Rensimer, Randy Thompson, Joe Thompson, Alan Konieczny, Chris Pool, and Jimmy Griffin. Honorary pallbearer is Paul Folsom.

Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church of Brenham.
