I have fond memories of Melvin. He was a friend of my parents, Oliver & Eloise Whitener, and a man of integrity. He was also good friends with Shorty and Laura Niemeyer, my relatives. I am sorry for your loss.

Ron, Elwood, and Family - I am so sorry for your loss of Melvin. Sorry I could not make the funeral. I still remember as a teen-ager walking past Green Grain on my way home. Melvin would always say hello and have a few words with me.
My thoughts are with you.

We will always remember Mr. Kettler with a smile--He always had time to listen and offer a kind word. We were honored to be a part of a few family celebrations with your family over the years. He was such a Southern gentleman. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Peace be with you.
