Guestbook for Evelyn Lorenz Showing 1 - 5 of 12 entries.

I was so sad to learn of Evelyn's death. Evelyn was such a wonderful neighbor to my Mom, Atemsa Poehlmann. I always enjoyed her visits when I came down to visit Mom. Also enjoyed viewing her beautiful yard. May you feel God's arms around you as you go thru this difficult time. Peace to you, Rosie Blackwell

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We were in New Mexico and unable to attend services. Evelyn was a joy to know...always upbeat and cheerful. She leaves wonderful memories as she set a great example of a Christian life well-lived.

Sincerely,

Mary Lou and Roger Winkelmann

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. I would have been at the service but am on vacation. As you know your Mom was one of my last connections to the card group who played with my Mom and Dad and it alway brought me joy when we remembered some of the events of those years. Mom always appreciated the extra special touch that your Mom put on those parties to make it fun. She could not wait to relate those stories to me after the event. In the last years we spoke more often as she volunteered at Bluebonnet Hills Care Center. And just the Friday night before her death we were at the Unity Theatre where she introduced me to her cousin and we joked about behaving ourselves. As with many of life's events, I did not know it would be my last conversation with her.
I will miss her personally and Bluebonnet will miss her as a vivacious volunteer. Her memory will live on with those who knew her

Sorry to learn of the loss of one so cherished. Please accept my condolences. May you find comfort and peace and strength to live on by trusting in the promises of our loving Heavenly Father.(Isaiah 25:8-9) He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces. And the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken [it]. 9 And in that day one will certainly say: “Look! This is our God. We have hoped in him, and he will save us. This is Jehovah. We have hoped in him. Let us be joyful and rejoice in the salvation by him.”
